Teacher Spotlight: Sunny Sinclair

This month, we're delighted to feature Sunny Sinclair, a GT teacher at Anderson and Ogle Elementary schools.

(If you're a teacher and would like to connect with our gifted community, or if you know of a teacher who has a great message and story, please contact us. We'd love to feature more of our wonderful teachers here!)

Hello, my name is Sunny Sinclair, and I’m the Gifted and Talented Teacher at Anderson and Ogle Elementary Schools. I began my career as a middle school art teacher in 1996; from there, I moved to the elementary general education classroom. Four years ago I pursued a life-long passion of working with gifted and talented children, and I’ve never been more fulfilled.

Through my education, graduate work in gifted education at the University of North Texas, and membership with Mensa International, I feel that I am a perfect fit for your gifted and talented child. I love challenging them to think and create beyond their perceived limits, and then see the satisfaction in their eyes when they prevail!

I feel confident knowing these children are our future leaders and problem solvers. They inspire me, and I hope I inspire them.
